Our Staff Management Qualifications
Ron Robertson, CEO/CFO of SAFE Fire Protection and Owner of SAFE Fire Detection, Inc. Is a 30 year veteran of fire protection product manufacturing of which he spent almost half of that time in executive positions steering the development and growth of companies. He obtained a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. As he grew within the industry and his career he perfected the skills to lead a technology based company in both technological and fiscal growth. His dedication to fiscally responsible product innovations has been the key to SFD’s success.
Ron started his career by working with Chemetron Fire Systems (a leading manufacturer of fire suppression systems) as an engineer then progressing through the ranks in management and then executive levels. He then started a new division for another fire equipment manufacturer called Environment One where he successfully launched the invention of the new early warning air sampling systems commonly used today.
When the company was acquired by a fortune 100 company in 1995, Ron purchased the rights to the products and started Safe Fire Detection, now a current leader in the specialty fire detection market.
